Prior to founding Japan Transfers K.K., David was a long-time representative of the state government in Japan and for the past 15 years he has provided leadership to bridge the international and Japanese communities, both in the public and private sectors. He also served as President of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan until 2023 and has developed close relationships with many Japanese global companies.
Vijay Deol
Chief Advisor to Japan Transfers K.K.
Vijay is the head advisor to Japan Transfers. He has extensive hands-on experience in leading recruitment projects as well as managing recruitment teams supporting the business expansion of global companies in Japan.
Vijay first came to Japan in 2002 and has gained management experience at both Japanese and foreign companies. Prior to becoming President of a major Japanese company specializing in global recruitment, he was the founding member of the Japanese subsidiary of a major London based, FTSE listed multinational recruitment firm.
Vijay graduated from the University of Alberta with a BSc and holds an MBA from McGill University (majoring in finance and international management). His native language is English and he is also fluent in Japanese.
