Japan Transfers aims to support the following cases

• Candidates who obtained permanent resident status through the DV Lottery Permanent Residency but are concerned about leaving their current company if work opportunities in the US are uncertain
• Candidates who obtained permanent resident status through marriage to an American, but are worried that they will need to take a lower position or move backwards in their career in the US because their English skills are not strong enough to obtain a comparable position in Japan
• Candidates currently working for an American company, but because of concern about English fluency limiting career options overseas and, therefore, want to join a Japanese company with an opportunity for an overseas assignment where they can fully apply their skills and experience
• Candidates who plan to get their green card within a year and want to secure a future transfer to a job in the U.S. beforehand
• Candidates who worked part-time in Japan and do not have highly specialized skills but have an American spouse and, therefore, hoping for an opportunity to earn better income working for a Japanese company
• Candidates currently working as a senior executive in Japan, but looking for a better work environment and  better conditions through a secondment to the U.S., taking advantage of the opportunity to obtain a green card
